Naseej Co-sponsors 7th Gulf Education Conference and Exhibition

Naseej, the leading knowledge management solutions provider in the MENA region, will be a key sponsor of the 7th Gulf Education Conference and Exhibition, to be held February 20–21, 2018 at the University of Business and Technology (UBT) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The conference supports global education programs by providing an interactive space that offers opportunities for international institutions, academies, schools and universities to build collaborative partnerships with ministries of education from the region.

The significance of the conference is reflected in the large number of delegates from major educational institutions in the Gulf and the broader MENA region, and representatives from international institutions that support the education sector. Along with a number of distinguished keynote speakers, 200 educators from top global universities, and more than 20,000 students, are expected to attend the event. Participants will have the opportunity to network directly with key ministries and government officials within the region’s education sector.

Mr. Abduljabbar Al-Abduljabbar, Executive President of Naseej, stressed the importance of providing a learning environment that is stimulating and sustainable. Education today must meet the expectations of the digital generation, he said, and adopt innovative solutions that improve students’ participation in the learning experience and increase their opportunities for success at the academic, social and personal levels.

Mr. Abduljabbar added: “Upgrading the educational system requires providing students with innovative solutions and a distinctive learning experience that contributes to the development of the educational process. This requires a curriculum that stimulates students’ imagination, and achieves the learning objectives of the region’s development programs. These objectives can only be achieved through a system in which the roles of technology providers, governments and academic institutions are integrated.”

Mr. Abdulla Alturaifi, Executive Vice President of Naseej, expressed his delight at supporting the conference. “We are proud to be part of this conference, and we look forward to building a true partnership with educational institutions in the region. The conference provides Naseej with the opportunity to showcase a suite of class-leading solutions designed to meet the needs and challenges of the higher education sector in the MENA region.”

During the conference and its accompanying exhibition, Naseej will showcase its latest e-learning solutions, including online testing and assessment, online virtual classrooms, lecture recording and broadcasting, as well as the latest virtual learning solutions.

Visitors to Naseej’s stands will also be able to learn about Saba’s talent management platform and D2L’s Brightspace integrated learning platform. Brightspace provides new learning opportunities, such as adaptive learning, predictive analytics and the Banner student academic platform, and integrates with the world leader in enterprise resource planning for higher education, Banner® from Ellucian.
