Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, April 15, 2012, In its efforts to provide pensioners with easy access to its services, the Saudi Public Pension Agency (PPA) will provide through its new web portal 50 of its services online in addition to enabling Smartphone and portable device access to its services, anytime and from anywhere. To achieve this goal the PPA chose Arabian Advanced Systems (Naseej), the leading provider of portal and e-services in the region, to develop its new web portal and integrate it with its services platform and provide multiple access channels to its content and services.
Eng. Samy Al Gamaz – General Manager of the information Center at the PPA- commented on the new PPA portal by saying “Our goal is to provide pensioners with online access to PPA services and enabling multiple access channels for those services. We chose Naseej because of its successful track record in such projects”
Naseej will developed the new PPA portal using Microsoft SharePoint 2010, in place of the PPA‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎s legacy platform. In addition, Naseej will also be updating the Rayadah portal (which represents the investment arm of PPA) and the web portals of the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) and the Information Technology & Communication Complex (ITCC).
From his part, Eng. Abdullah Al-Turaifi, VP of AAS stated “We are proud to partner with the PPA on this project which enables Naseej to contribute to serving pensioners. In working with Naseej and switching to Microsoft SharePoint 2010 the PPA is determined to empower its online presence with the latest and most effective technologies and applications with the end goal of serving pensioners”
