Naseej president Eng. Abduljabbar Al-Abduljabbar met with Dr. Ali Al Olay, Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Systems at Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University, in Riyadh on December 10, 2012, to present a lecture entitled “Meeting with Information Technology Leaders.” The seminar was one of a series of lectures Naseej is presenting in cooperation with global specialists as part of its efforts to help develop the knowledge and information community in the region.

During the seminar, which was attended by more than 150 students and staff of the university, Eng. Abduljabbar shared Naseej‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎s success story and described some of the problems the company has encountered in what is a highly competitive, yet very promising field.

Eng. Abduljabbar, president of Naseej for knowledge management solutions, also discussed the company’s mission to provide academics with innovative knowledge management solutions and services, such as Arab Union Catalogue (AUC) and the electronic library management system, AcKnowledge.

He also stressed the importance of working with management of knowledge entities to adapt advanced technologies to meet their particular needs. For example, Naseej‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎s Moyassar Service, launched in 2011, which automated the process of loans’ requests through an online service for accepting loan applications to limit usual routine procedures through integrating with the online registration services of various government entities to streamline the process and provide equal access rights to all applicants.
