Naseej – the Arab world‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎s leader in Knowledge Management Solutions – is committed to presenting the latest trends, best practices and standards for library services and solutions in the region. As part of its ongoing efforts in this area, Naseej invited Mr. Kim Massana, CEO of Innovative Interfaces, to share his “INN-sights” on the future of library automation at a meeting in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on April 17, 2014.
 
The meeting, held in the Four Seasons Hotel‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎s Berlin Room, enabled Mr. Massana to meet with library directors from some of the largest universities in the KSA. The partnership between Innovative and Naseej makes available the Sierra Library Services Platform backed by Naseej‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎s local support and service, he said. Mr. Massana praised the commitment of the Saudi library community to identifying and implementing cutting-edge solutions that will help position Saudi universities as among the best in the world. Library directors attending the meeting were able to engage in one-on-one discussions with Innovative’s CEO, with many commenting that they view the Innovative/Naseej partnership as a winning proposition. It was generally agreed that Sierra is the next-generation library platform of choice for academic and research libraries.
 
At the end of the meeting, Kim Massana extended his sincere thanks to Eng. Abduljabbar Al Abduljabbar – Naseej CEO – for the hospitality and warm welcome shown him and Mr. Doug Kaplan, Innovative’s Vice President of Global Alliances & Partnerships. He also affirmed Naseej’s interest in and commitment to supporting academic and research libraries in the region by making available the latest solutions to enable them to fulfill their strategic missions.
