?His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz – Governor of the Eastern Province and Council Chairman – has launched the Eastern Province‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎s ”esharqiah Enjaz” online portal, featuring three leading systems to monitor the provinces‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎ projects, to automate its council‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎s meetings and to measure the performance of government agencies‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎ services.
Naseej – the Arab world‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎s leader in Enterprise Portal Solutions & eServices – was chosen to implement “esharqiah Enjaz” portal in collaboration with King Fahd University for Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM). The project is financed by Aramco. This new portal is one of the most important and biggest projects Naseej has implemented recently. Also, it is the first of its kind across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which incorporates more than one system serving the Eastern Province. The first system enables portal users to monitor projects performance and development. Equally, both citizens and residents can obtain insights into current projects.

The second system provides a unified communication channel displaying interactive dashboards that empower both internal and external audience to monitor and measure the performance of government agencies‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎ services. In addition, the third system enables the Province‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎s Council to automate its meetings, from meetings of local councils, through decision making, to decision distribution among agencies for implementation. The system also provides detailed reports for each service based on each performance indicator, thus helping both agencies and provinces track audience‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎s satisfaction with their services. This – in its turn – supports government officials and executives in making the right decisions to improve such services.
The meeting was graced by Dr. Hosam Rowaihy – Director of the Information Technology Center and Project Manager – representing King Fahd University for Petroleum and Minerals which supervises the project, as well as Naseej‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎s BPM Consultant / Business Analysis Team Lead. Both KFUPM and Naseej offered a brief presentation on the new portal, its systems and benefits for citizens and residents.

Naseej is the Arab world‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎s leader in information technology library management solutions.
