?Naseej – the Arab world’s leader in Knowledge Management solutions – is participating in the Third AFLI-IFLA regional Conference, taking place on April 26-27, 2017, at Hammamet, Tunisia.
With the theme, “The Role of Arab Libraries, Information and Archival Institutions in Sustainable Development”, the conference aims to discuss the status of Library and Information sector and its role in sustainable development in Arab countries. The event also seek to elaborate on the key role played by libraries, information centers, library associations and consortia professionals in implementing sustainable development plans. The event will present examples of library contributions in this regard.
At the exhibition to be organized alongside the conference, Naseej will showcase its latest library management solutions, including Innovative‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎s Sierra Library Services Platform for academic and research libraries, and SirsiDynix’s Symphony Library Services Platform for public libraries. Naseej will also present its state-of-the-art bibliotheca RFID Technologies for Libraries, including Items Security, Collections Management and Self-Service systems, as well as professional information resources from AskZad and ProQuest. In addition, Conference participants will also be updated on the contributions/projects of the Arab Union Catalog, and learn more about its membership requirements.
