Riyadh, KSA, March 30, 2016 In line with its strategic partnership with King Saud University (KSU), Naseej delivered a professional workshop accreditation in the auditorium of KSU’s Deanship of Library Affairs on March 30, 2016. The workshop, on the theme “Role of the Library within the Academic Accreditation Processes,” was Attended by H.E. Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammad Al-Muneef – Dean of Library Affairs, H.E. Dr. Abdulrahman bin Nasser Al-Said – Deputy Dean for Development and Quality, and Dr. Ali bin Dhib Al-Aklubi – Deputy Dean of King Saud University Press, along with the Deanship’s senior administrative staff.
 
Dr. Abdallah H. Metwally – Naseej Knowledge Assets Consultant – initiated the workshop by highlighting the practical steps KSU has taken towards renewing its institutional accreditation by 2017. In this regard, Dr. Metwally addressed various topics, including requirements and standards of self-study preparation, as well as rules, regulations and the exciting process of the Sixth Standard stipulated by the National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment (NCAAA). He also reviewed the requirements and processes of development assessment and re-accreditation.
 
At the end of the workshop, participants were briefed on the Knowledge Solutions Naseej offers to support the Deanship in its Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance efforts. The workshop generated considerable discussion between the participants and the speaker, who addressed all the audience’s inquiries.
The University’s Female Campus has also hosted a similar workshop on April 6, 2016, to ensure overall benefit of the knowledge provided.
