Naseej the Arab world’s leader in Knowledge Management Solutions is the diamond sponsor of the 26th Conference of the Arab Federation for Libraries and Information (AFLI 2015), to be held November 24, 2015, in Landmark Hotel, Amman, Jordan.
The theme of this year s conference is “Librarians and Information Specialists as Information Workers”. The conference is expected to discuss several key topics, including the different fields of information workers, and the changing role of information specialists to support communities in their advance towards a knowledge-based economy and community. The event will also elaborate on the job description of information workers, then how to prepare, qualify and train them in Libraries and Information Centers. In addition, the conference will explore a number of local and international field experiences to mentor information workers.
During the conference, Naseej will showcase its ever-growing suite of solutions for Arabic libraries. These solutions include, but are not limited to,Sierra Integrated Library System for academic libraries,Symphony for national and public libraries, Library Items Security and Management Solutions andB2N Digitization Solutions. Naseej will also update conference participants on the contribution of the Arab Union Catalog to the development of Arab libraries and its membership requirements.
