In collaboration with IEEE the World’s leading authority in professional engineering databases, Naseej the Arab world’s leader in Knowledge Management Solutions organized a number of training workshops on IEEE Xplore at Higher Institutions in the United Arab Emirates.
Participants have been updated with the new features added to IEEE Xplore in order to support literature reviews effective and efficiently. IEEE Xplore offers users access to tools for seamless knowledge sharing and collaboration, in addition to simple Article Level Metrics where users can obtain information on the reach and impact of the articles viewed. IEEE Xplore also provides professional users with valuable tips and pointers to publish for IEEE Conferences & Journals.
Attendees were also given a live demonstration on IEEE Reference Style using IEEE Collaborate MS Word Plugin, how to conduct a database search to find the right publication, and how to submit their papers via IEEE Xplore. The training sessions produced considerable discussion and useful interactions among the participants.
