Riyadh, KSA,In line with its efforts in supporting communication and interaction between Arab librarians and international experts in the field of information and library sciences, Naseej (Arabian Advanced Systems), the leading knowledge management solutions provider in the Middle East, has announced its cooperation with IFLA Center for Arabic Speaking Libraries (IFLA-CASL) in awarding a scholarship to attend the IFLA Conference 2012, to be held in Helsinki, Finland, August 1117. The conference is the world’s biggest professional conference in the field of information and libraries.
The Vice President of Naseej, Eng. Abdullah Al-Turaifi, announced: “IFLA’s annual conference presents a great opportunity for information specialists to get together in order to update their knowledge, develop their skills and strengthen their existing ties. Furthermore, it facilitates communication with other outside information units and the establishment of new projects and services. In awarding the scholarship, priority will be given to presenters of scientific research who are playing a positive role in the conference. The winner will be chosen by a neutral committee formed by Naseej and IFLA-CASL.
