Under the patronage of the President of Hafr Al Batin University, Dr. “Saleh bin Mufleh Al Saqr” and the General Supervisor of the Deanship of Library Affairs, Dr. Fahd Al-Jami, Hafr Al Batin University signed an agreement with Naseej – the leader in Digital Transformation Solutions- to implement and maintain the University’s integrated library management system.
Under this agreement, Naseej will provide the University’s library with MEDAD Library System, which is mainly designed to meet the needs of academic institutions in the region, as well as the increasing expectations of robust digital services. Also, Naseej will provide MEDAD e-repository, Libinsight reporting and Chatbot library simulation systems. The agreement also covers providing operation and maintenance of the University’s libraries for three years.
On this occasion, Eng. Abdullah Al Turaifi – Naseej VP – expressed his deep appreciation of signing this agreement stressing the Naseej’s ongoing efforts and attention to serve the academic community by offering students a cutting-edge learning experience, supporting faculty to perform their tasks according to quality standards in a country the size of Saudi Arabia.
He also said; “We highly appreciate this collaboration with the University of Hafr Al Batin which is a clear manifestation of leadership and excellence. We are confident that our collaboration will add a new dimension to the library to further efficiency and quick response to development. In fact, MEDAD Cloud Library Services Platform offer the open space for smart library services; touching on users’ needs and providing students with a range of smart services. As well, the Platform ensures efficient operation, accessibility, user generation, collections usability and scientific research support; while expanding the concepts of transparency and finding new interests.”
Al Turaifi then stressed the future horizons to be explored by this agreement stating; “We are delighted to have this partnership with the University of Hafr Al Batin and working together; while expecting to secure beneficial results to the University and enhance the objectives of both parties.”
