In continuation of UMM AL-QURA University’s – UQU – pursuit of supporting the digital transformation journey for all its educational and operational processes to continue achieving its strategic goals in a way that aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, UQU has chosen Naseej for Technology ─ the region’s leading knowledge and eLearning solutions provider ─ to provide it with the latest Quality, Assessment and Evaluation, Academic Accreditation, Library Management, Library Portal, and Digital Assets Repository.
The scope of the agreement comprises providing UMM AL-QURA UNIVERSITY with MEDAD Cloud Platform for Institutional Effectiveness and Library Services Platform. The project will also cover implementation, localization, and customization services for all technology solutions provided by Naseej in addition to delivering hosting, development, maintenance, and technical support services.
UMM AL-QURA UNIVERSITY has selected MEDAD Institutional Effectiveness Platform (IEP) to enhance institutional performance, quality, and efficiency. MEDAD IEP integrates key functions like strategic planning, learning outcomes assessment, accreditation management, and more into one platform, streamlining processes and enabling data-driven decision-making. By adopting MEDAD IEP, UMM AL-QURA UNIVERSITY aims to improve effectiveness, enhance program quality, and support strategic goals looking to facilitate continuous improvement, enhance student success, and ensure compliance with accreditation standards, reinforcing the university’s academic standing in the Kingdom.
Under the terms of the contract, Naseej is to provide MEDAD Library Services Platform (MEDAD LSP), which offers comprehensive management of all Umm Al-Qura University’s library operations and information sources. MEDAD LSP ─ which comprises the features of Library Management, Library Portal, and Digital Assets Repository ─ enables UQU librarians to perform their jobs more effectively thanks to a trusted and reliable technology architecture that manages all processes and resources more efficiently and productively in addition to keeping up with the expectations and needs of today’s tech-savvy patrons as well as facilitating their access to the library knowledge services as well as physical, digital, and electronic holdings, thereby providing them with a unified, seamless user experience.
