Nassej For Technology is glad to announce the signing of a partnership agreement with Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA), comprising the implementation of a project to manage and transform eLearning and training for ZATCA employees. The large project is set to empower ZATCA to continue achieving its mission of effectively managing the Saudi Zakat, Tax, and Customs ecosystem as well as facilitating trade to enable the economic sustainability and social prosperity of the Kingdom, thereby turning ZATCA into a global role model in protecting the nation.

Under the partnership agreement, Naseej will provide Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority with MEDAD Learning and Training Management Platform ─ an integrated, cloud solution that offers a wide variety of benefits, including adaptability and scalability, full training process automation, an intuitive user-friendly interface, ease of use and navigation of functionality, high data security, ability to integrate with other solutions and platforms, ability to issue reports and certificates, and ability to organize eLearning content at one location.

Moreover, by adopting MEDAD Learning and Training Management solution, ZATCA is set to reap a wide range of results, including improving staff workplaces, and providing employees with easy access to the platform along with turning employee training into an extremely rich, seamless, and engaging experience. This cooperation will also enable Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority to leverage Naseej’s expertise in the educational technology field to boost eLearning quality as well as increase ZATCA employees’ functional efficiency and productivity.

The scope of the agreement comprises enabling five thousand trainees to subscribe to MEDAD Learning and Training Management Platform, including offering a wide range of features: an e-training environment, virtual classes, physical classes, mobile learning, training management, Reporting and Analytics (Dashboards for Users and Administrators), online exam proctoring management, and linking training programs to targeted skills.

The agreement also covers several commitments on the part of Naseej, including implementing and localizing a SaaS-based, cloud e-training solution in the Kingdom (to be consistent with ZATCA’s identity and requirements, and supporting both Arabic and English), ensuring support for the Single Sign-On ZATCA SSO, ensuring integration with ZATCA’s internal systems and other online platforms safely used by ZATCA and consistent with data cybersecurity best practices.

Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority

The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZTCA) was established under a Council of Ministers Decision to merge “the General Authority of Zakat and Tax” and “the General Customs Authority” into one Authority.
