?In its headquarter in Buraydah, and under the patronage of H.H. Dr. Ahmad Al Salem – Deputy Minister of Interior, Al-Qassim Province organized a workshop to explore its experience as well as other Saudi provinces‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎ with government projects monitoring and implementation. The workshop witnessed extensive discussions on the challenges faced and how to overcome them. Participating provinces also shared their insights and expertise to ensure optimal benefit for all provinces, in addition to citizens and residents.
On the other hand, Eng. Mishal Alogaiel – Eastern Province‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎s Assistant Undersecretary for Regional Development and Regional Council‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎s Secretary – presented the province‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎s experience with Government Projects Monitoring using “Eastern Enjaz” portal (www.esharqiah.org) developed by Naseej – the Arab world‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎s leader in Enterprise Portal Solutions & eServices – in collaboration with Aramco and King Fah University for Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM).

 Eng. Mishal also elaborated on how to automate the council‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎s meetings to streamline the province‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎s role in monitoring projects, making decision, and following-up with other governments agencies through “Enjaz” portal.
“Enjaz” portal is one of most important and biggest projects Naseej has implemented recently. It is the first of its kind in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which includes three cutting-edge systems; Projects Management and Monitoring, Key Performance and Services Indicators and Meeting Automation System for the regional and local councils.

The Projects Management and Monitoring system empowers the Provinces to monitor and control projects performance. It also enables citizens and residents to access existing projects and gain insights on their progress. On the other hand, Naseej Meeting Management System covers all meeting-related processes, including sending meeting invitations to participants, setting the meeting agenda, keeping attendance records, and taking meeting minutes, and much more. The system features are distributed over a number of services to help users before, during and after meetings, as follows:
Before Meeting: Plan the meeting, send invitations, prepare the meeting agenda and reserve a meeting room;
During Meeting: which covers meeting processes, such as taking attendance, attendees’ information, meeting topics, discussions, voting, and documenting decisions and recommendations; and Post Meeting: Record decisions taken, distribute assigned tasks to attendees, and follow up their implementation.
Naseej Key Performance Indicators system (NKPI) offers a unified channel to communicate performance indicators and analysis of the agency‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎s services to both its internal and external audience. NKPI also provides detailed reports based on each service and performance standard. Furthermore, NKPI enables agencies and provinces to monitor the satisfaction of beneficiaries of their services, thus enabling Government Executives and Officials to take informed decisions and improve service performance accordingly.
